Such a fantastic environment and great place to learn martial arts! Hands down, this is some of the best instruction in the area. Pat and Miss Christina are so welcoming to students, old and new.
Also, such a nice clean space with changing rooms, showers, for guys and gals.
If you are starting out in your Jiu-Jitsu journey or you are enrolling your kids in a program, this is an excellent school.

Awesome Jiu Jitsu academy, Pat and Cristina are legit tough black belts with a wealth of experience and knowledge. They’re also some of the most genuine and generous coaches you could come across. If you’re looking for a great place to learn or continue training Jiu Jitsu I highly recommend that you check them out. They’re both Renzo Gracie lineage. The school is very spacious, clean and comfortable. 5 out of 5!!!!

Christina and Pat are an amazing jiu jitsu black belt duo and it’s been amazing to see what they’ve done with this school already. They’ve created solid structure, listen, and encourage both a competitive yet respectful vibe. Our community was already tight knit but I really think it’s now even stronger with their leadership. So stoked for the future of this school, especially as they’re adding more classes and seminars.

Big windows, clean mats and a beautiful facility. Members and teaching staff are welcoming and friendly. Four elements makes grappling very approachable because they focused on safety and teaching from their combined vast amount of experience. Whether you’re starting for the first time or looking to visit, this place is everything you’ll need to enjoy learning and be in a great community.

I've been training BJJ for almost 2 decades and can confirm Four Elements Jiujitsu in Morristown is top-notch!
The instruction is exceptional, the facility is meticulously clean, and the student culture is welcoming, tough, and ego-free.
Highly recommend any grapplers visiting the area to drop in for a class!

I am 53 and have trained martial arts for most of my life. I trained Muay Thai and Jiu Jitsu in New Orleans, Brighton (UK), and Brooklyn before coming to Four Elements (4E) in Morristown, New Jersey.
The level of instruction at 4E is extremely high. Whether gi or no-gi, the instructors' level of technical expertise is top-shelf. At the same time, the instructors are approachable, friendly, and engaged.
I have never been at a gym with more Black Belt instructors who routinely invite their Black Belt friends and colleagues from other schools to train. Having that regular influx of visiting expert jiujiteros is a major perk.
This is the first gym I've trained at with a consistently positive, nurturing, and considerate training culture and an absolute lack of ego-driven aggro. This gym culture has attracted a broad range of professionals, academics, and civil servants in addition to more focused competitors and there is a strong sense of esprit de corps.
The open mats are excellent. Senior belts are always present and extremely generous in terms of drilling and coaching lower belts. Really, it's been my experience that open mat sessions at 4E are often much closer to "private lessons" than to the random melees that open mat sessions can be at some places.
No exaggeration: five out of five stars. The tuition is reasonable and worth every penny.

Outstanding jiu jitsu academy where they care about your jiu jitsu development, and the condition of your soul. Rare. Special place, come on down and challenge yourself to become a lean, mean, (but also humble and generous) jiu jitsu machine!
